Color Guard
Music Performance scores are averaged for a total of 20 possible points. Visual Performance scores are averaged for another 20 possible points. Those two averages (40 possible) are added to the three General Effect judges’ scores (20 possible apiece) for a possible total of 100 points.
Percussion and Color Guard are judged separate from the band as a whole. Their scores determine placement within those specific captions and are not part of the total score.
